Who has been your greatest inspiration(s)—professionally or creatively (or both)?
There are tons of people I work with who are amazing at what they do, so that’s pretty inspiring. Outside of work I’m a pretty huge fan of Scott Hansen, he’s super talented dude.
What music do you like to listen to when you’re working?
It ranges from The Album Leaf to Zion I and EVERYTHING between.
Favorite book(s):
I’m a fan of Ray Bradbury and that sort of genre of books.

Favorite video game(s):
I love the destruction in the Battlefield Series, but I love the gun play in the Call of Duty Series. Portal and Half-life are awesome, and I dug Fallout a ton. The art style in Borderlands was fantastic.

Jake Sloma
I work at Real Art and have for a really long time. I graduated with a B.F.A. from the University of Dayton, with a concentration in Visual Communication Design. I started off as a print designer, which I still do a little of in my free time, but I’ve transitioned to interface design and have been learning some html/css thanks to the help of my co-workers Alison and Ben. In addition, I’ve be learning how to animate in After-Effects with a little help from my co-worker Tim.
As far as my personal life goes, I currently reside in the Wicker Park area of Chicago with my beautiful new bride.
When I'm not at work or creating fabulous goods for Real Mart, I enjoy riding bikes, playing video games, cooking, eating and drinking awesome beer with good friends.
