About the Artist

What drives you to make the things you’re selling on Real Mart?
I love an opportunity to be creative in other ways besides designing logos and websites. Doing something crafty with my hands is so great and incredibly therapeutic.

What creative project are you currently brainstorming?
Oh man! I really want to make some custom fonts and Dayton themed posters, and I also have some paints and canvases that have been calling my name for a few years now.

Who has been your greatest inspiration(s)?
My father—who is a custom culture, old school pinstriper—has always been an influence of mine. Kirsten Ulve and Von Glitschka are two illustrators that have inspired me with their style.

What music do you like to listen to when you’re working?
My iPod is filled with the most random mix of music. I couldn’t even begin to describe it all.

If you could only eat one thing for a month, what would it be?
Chipotle

Artist Profile

I have been a graphic designer for seven years, working full-time and as a freelancer on the side. I graduated from Sinclair in ‘03 and have been enjoying my career ever since. I spent all of 2009 doing my own gig under the name Link Creative, where I offered custom logo design and lettering as well as print and web design services. Now at Real Art, I work in the interactive department, and I love it! I am very blessed to work with such a great group of creatives!

I grew up and still live in the great town of Miamisburg. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Joe, for three years, and we have a crazy cool dog (Jack Russell) named Leo.

At Real Art I work in the interactive department designing website interface and helping to bring awesome websites to life.

I like to find other ways to be creative in my spare time—from illustration to making new things. I also enjoy sports, specifically basketball and softball, working out and being outside.
