Monolithic.
Does your product have a fun story behind it? If so, what is it?
Actually, it doesn’t. I have worked with a lot of cement-like adhesives and thought it would be nice to make art out of them. Cement seemed like the most logical material. Also, I wanted to make forms that were simple yet elegant because I haven’t really seen anything like that.
How do you envision people using your product?
Well, they can be planters, doorstops,…a variety of things.
What's your favorite thing about your product?
Actually, I love the weight of it. They are very solid and sturdy, which gives them a certain quality. Also, I like how geometric they turned out. All of the forms I use to make them have to be square and the way I make them keeps the visible sides all very crisp and not hand smoothed.
